Features backup light switch, neutral safety switch, lighted gear indicator, and NHRA/IHRA reverse lockout. Includes ergonomically designed Hammer Head T-Handle with a chrome plated aluminum finish, and 5' long shifter cable. Automatic shifters (except cables) are backed by the manufacturer with a limited lifetime warranty.

terrible and painful

The switch was more difficult to use than most. The turn signal never worked and I toggled it once while driving and the part holding the button broke.

B&M Hammer Shifter: Transmission

Works well on my TH700, gears are positioned correctly, positive shifts, problem is only when transitioning from park to reverse, easy to miss reverse and neutral due to narrow Put it in gear, maybe it will loosen up over time, but then again, if you're going from parking to driving, you can pull the lever straight to move with no action.

Pros
  • Shift Lever
Cons
  • High Price

Difficult to machine, poor quality

Ordered for G-body Monte Carlo with 200R4 overdrive. I needed something with a gear indicator next to the shifter so I could tell what gear it was in. Right out of the box the tabs for the switch indicator window were broken. Fixed with plastic glue. After installation, the shift lever is difficult to turn on. It may be because I'm not used to a ratchet shifter, but I'm not a fan. Will fit my stock derailleur when I get a chance.

Pros
  • Performance parts and accessories
Cons
  • Some nuances
