Works well on Polaris RZR!

Works great! I adapted them to hold the hood of a Polaris RZR XP. I managed to cut short strands to fit. It took a bit of work to set them up properly, but they work fine now.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Nothing here

Perfect fit, the pins are too smooth.

Worst, excellent rust resistance so I chose aluminium. But the lugs themselves are so smooth, even when the lugs are set so deep that I have to press on the hood to use them, they still slip out while driving. A matte texture on the hood pins would probably be a better idea.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Jesus is not a drug. for scoops and hood vents

I see complaints about the poor quality of almost every other hood pin, but they have NONE of these flaws. The plates are a bit thicker than most. Just perfect in my opinion and the 1/2" struts are strong enough to pull your butt off-road, they're machined to a premium quality and anodized. They make those Sparco hood pins look like Autozone trash! Allstar is a fantastic one High quality company and believe it or not, honest and legitimate prices, love them!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost never

Good pens, but no plates.

Since no screws are included and the plates are fairly basic combine this kit with the "Replacement Plates from Billet Housing Aluminum Pin Kit 551444". Normally I would deduct a few points if I didn't include all the hardware, but I knew I wouldn't be using the plates that came with it anyway. Quality is unbeatable for the price. If you are looking for a complete set, you still need to find 8 screws to hold the plates. The rusty sheet metal screws on my old panels looked like shit, so I didn't

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Bonnet pin fits best in Scoops & Vents bonnet

Had an engine swap, the new engine had a different upper cross bracket for the radiator so the old bonnet latch system could not work properly. My options were: A: Spend $200 to replace the hood, or B: Spend $12 on it. Eating is understandable. They're actually not that ugly on a 1986 Jeep Cherokee. I'll admit to worrying about this, but I and a lot of other people find them pretty stylish. I installed them on the outside corners of the two large rectangular sections that make up the Jeep hood,

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some minor things
