Actually, it's not water. The consistency is like a light gel. Applies easily and smoothly. No irritations or problems. But it doesn't completely remove my makeup and I hardly ever wear it lately. It turns out thicker, like a gel or thick serum. It settles on a round cotton pad or a disposable cotton pad after wiping your face, almost like it will become more liquid with use. Does a pretty good job of removing makeup. Doesn't make my skin dry or tight. Just fresh and clean. It also removes heavy zinc sunscreen with ease, which is really nice.

Love the smell and packaging and this product works quite well while being mild and non-irritating. I don't know why it's called cleaning water, it's a bit thicker. More like a Cetophilus, but prettier.

This mild, gentle cleanser has a floral scent. It's called cleansing water, but I find it more of a light, creamy lotion than water.
