Colorescience Sunforgettable Mineral Sunscreen Brush Review

My dermatologist recommended this product because I was complaining that lotions just sweat and get in my eyes. At first I didn't want to buy because I don't use cosmetics and the price. I figured a small tube would be less than a skin cancer freeze procedure. I used it during a 2 week vacation when we walked a lot and sweated. The boy did well. You really couldn't tell it was my fault and it didn't come to my eyes.

I do not buy mineral sunscreen powder. While I love his idea (something matte, not full of chemicals, not greasy lotion), it definitely didn't protect my face while my daughter was playing soccer. I never came home sunburned with my old liquid sunscreen, but it was obvious that I was sunbathing too much after switching to this, and its play only lasted an hour. For the amount I paid I expected it to work as well as my liquid sunscreen.

Have been using it for years. Works well for my acne prone combination skin and protects it from the sun. Gives a beautiful glow to the face and hides some imperfections. It's see-through so if you have something to hide I recommend using a good concealer as it won't hide everything. When I have an Asian glow, I seem to restore my color from beet red to a neutral with more pink undertones. Darker colors are good because you can use them for contouring. I only gave it one star because the brush application is very disappointing. My dermatologist put it on me and recommended it for a recent trip to a sunny place. I've read the instructions and watched videos on how to get the brush working, but I was still having a hard time getting the applicator to work. You don't have to work that hard to put sunscreen on. I like portability but argh! This is not a cheap product.

This is my sunscreen and extra protection for the nose. Instantly improves complexion without looking like cosmetics. I tried the "clear" version (different brand) and couldn't tell if I used anything. Color is very helpful in this case. Make sure the back is screwed! Mine fell off and I lost all my powder in the sink. I had to buy a new one.

This product is shockingly overpriced and should be a trial version even though it is a full version. There didn't seem to be much product so I poured it into a scoop and it weighed less than a tablespoon. I think there are about 10-15 uses, which works out to $6 per use. Send back.
