Slightly cheesy. Works well for OHC heads.

Worked very well for the 2.2 Ecotec head conversion. My only concern is that if you push down at a slight angle, the bar you're pushing off of will tend to slide back and forth a bit. Not so hot what's up. He quickly regained his head.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Useless features

Great power tool tool

Not much to say about that. I used the first and last cam plugs to hold the end brackets. The metal rod slides into the holes and pushes down with the pin! The investment is worth it. IMOI used this on a Nissan SR20DET head with no problem.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Top Valve Spring Compressor Kit

I'm a mechanic and the compressor kit worked great. I didn't want to remove the heads and had to replace the guide gasket. Great tool, good price. and timely delivery. Highly recommended. Worked for Mitsubishi Montero 2000.

Great tool for power tools

Great tool with many attachment options. My first project was the conversion of a GM 2.2L ecotec cylinder head and it worked out great. Cylinder head clearance is very tight and this tool provides excellent access. My second project was a cylinder head on a 2011 Toyota Corolla 2ZR-FE cylinder head and the tool held up well, but I found a better tool for the job. This tool works well with valves that have multi-groove holders, but in my opinion there are better tools for single-groove holders…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
