THOUGHT THIS IS FAKE?: Toners & Astringents

The first bottle I bought was from last year (pictured as the original) and I was so happy I finally found one that worked for me had worked. It smelled nice like herbs/lavender and made my skin so soft. I am SO disappointed in this second bottle because not only does it do nothing for my skin but it is runny and smells like JELLY PLASTIC. I thought I was crazy until I compared 2 bottles. And found several other reviews with the same problem. I totally understand that there is a disclaimer…

Moisturizing toner that gets rid of stubborn redness

This is a product that I struggled with for two months before purchasing. At first I was skeptical that the tonic was good because the essential oils in it bothered me. (I was afraid it would give me a rash) and the fact that it was a 'moisturizing' toner (I thought it might give me breakouts). However, it was really great! I won't say I have sensitive skin, but I do have combination skin with an oily T-zone and the occasional breakout that pops up from time to time. here is my experience with…

I'm a big skincare skeptic! That's great! (Updated 2018)

This is my honest and very detailed review of Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner 180ml. I received this on 6th February 2017 and bought it from a Wishtrend seller. My product was not counterfeit and shipping was fast because I have Prime. I've been using it for about 4 months now. This product is amazing. If you want to read all the details of my review, please read on. I hope this review helps someone :). Pros/Good: 1. Moisturizing for toner!2. Very gentle, it's gentle enough not to…

Ideal for sensitive, dehydrated skin!

I am 25 years old with dehydrated skin and live in Minnesota. My other hydrating toners didn't work and I saw good reviews about it so I decided to give it a try. The ingredients here are really something to be excited about. It has a light scent that goes away within a minute or so and doesn't irritate my skin. Again, I have very sensitive skin that gets contact dermatitis easily from strong fragrances in skincare products, so no worries. The results are more fully visible when using the 7…

Beware of sensitive skin.

Please keep this in mind as you read: I have very sensitive skin (allergies which give me severe rashes, I feel like I've had to fight them since I was a child). a bit with meds, skin creams etc etc) and it's really hard for me to find products that work for me. I wanted to try a Korean skincare routine because nothing else really worked, but I also wanted to stick to non-abuse products. After some research I was able to create my own Korean Sensitive Skin Care Routine and WOW my skin feels…

Not for me Facial

I purchased this product to use as part of my Korean skincare routine after trying other types of American made products for my sensitive skin. While I love the feel of this toner, it did irritate my skin. This line is for sensitive skin but there must be some ingredients that just don't work for me. As soon as I applied it to my skin, my skin immediately started to turn red and small spots (almost like bumps) started to appear, especially on the chin, jawline and cheek area. I also bought…

If you have dry and sensitive skin. After using this toner, the face becomes very red. It gave me a chemical burn reaction. It took FOREVER to heal. It's not worth it. If your skin barrier is strong, this might work. This toner tended to dry out my skin even more, which is ironic since it's meant for dry and sensitive skin. I have read several articles about people suffering from allergic reactions to some of the vegetable oils they use in this product. Maybe that triggered my reaction. It's…

Really great despite some false reviews

My first Korean tonic and I really love it. Despite FakeSpot identifying 60% of these reviews as fake, I read about this product on beauty blogs and wanted to try it. Revain's price was great so I agreed and to be honest it was great. I have sensitive normal to dry skin that develops red spots after washing and hyperpigmentation and this makes my skin soothing, incredibly even in tone, soft and absorbent so the rest of my products absorb. . Plus, it smells GREAT, like a gentle lavender soap…
