Tension rods were just what I was looking for. Our rented house has three skylights and it gets hot in the afternoons when the sun shines through the windows. I sewed a curtain for my daughter's window, everything worked out. Easy to use and holds up great.

I bought these to use on bookshelves to hold rolls of wire tape.
