MOST DURABLE TSA RECOGNIZED AND ACCEPTED LOCK. Forge locks are designed from the ground up to be toughest luggage locks around. Our special alloy lock bodies, hardened steel shackles and patented internal mechanisms can take such a pounding that we back our product up with an unconditional lifetime guarantee. If you can find a way to break these locks, we’ll gladly refund or replace them. KNOW IF YOU’VE BEEN INSPECTED. Know if an agent has opened your TSA approved lock immediately with our inspection indicator. If an agent unlocks your suitcase, a red indicator will pop up on your lock under the steel shackle. You’ll know that your belongings were inspected and can double check that nothing is misplaced or missing while you’re still at the airport. ALWAYS RELOCKED, ALWAYS PROTECTED. Most TSA locks on the market do not need to be re-locked by a TSA agent after their inspection is completed. With our TSA luggage lock, the agent has to re-lock your suitcase to remove their key. With Forge you never worry about your suitcase locks being left open again. NO HASSLE COMBINATION LOCKS. Set your own 4-digit combination with ease. It literally takes twenty seconds to enter whatever combination you want with the detailed instructions and pictures included with the Forge TSA lock. MANY USES WITH LOTS OF VARIETY. Type of review

There are so many locks to choose from, but I was looking for one that wouldn't destroy the TSA, as is often the case. I bought 4 packs of 4 digit black padlocks and am very satisfied. The locks are strong, have some weight, are affordable and easy to program. Written instructions and supporting videos are easy to use. I asked a customer service question online and received a helpful response almost immediately. (They are based in Wyoming and are a small business owned by veterans.) Feel free…

  • Handy Item

Two lost on a Pelican hard case. Excellent customer service!

Locks are well made and easy to combine. The color is more copper than orange but looks nice. However, I am not sure if they are suitable for a hard case. I've had two flights on a Pelican 1510, lost one on departure and the other on the way back. The TSA did not open the case because the remaining lock had no indicator and there was no security paper in my case. I "guess" that they couldn't move as they were in a hard case so any impact with the conveyor belts or other luggage could cause them

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • No insurance

Quality control can be an issue

I have made three trips with these locks in the last four weeks. Two were disabled by TSA (one by MSP who flew to DCA, the other by BWI who flew back to MSP). I'm a federal employee, I actually went to my agency's security headquarters and asked them to test the other two with TSA gear. Your key works but the red light doesn't come on at all and the key to the tool worked for a while (probably had to saw off the lock in two different places. I probably got an inferior batch but it's still quite

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
