They are suitable for protection and locks

This set of locks is easier to install than the old locks, but they are larger and don't have as strong magnets. Besides, no key is included, you need to buy it separately.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Safety 1st Tot-Lok on Safety

Great product! I found that I didn't need this set after all, at least not yet. I bought this to keep my new cat out of closets but she lost interest before I could install it. I already have a few installs from previous owners.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Approximately

Love these locks from Safety

These are the only locks we use now (there used to be ugly things that fit on handles). Remember to get the magnet set first! I have them in many places around the house and am very happy with the ease of use and the fact that they are not visible from the outside.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Great child safety!

I love these locks! I especially love the fact that I can lock and unlock them whenever I need to! I highly recommend these for those of you who need to keep little hands from opening cupboards or cupboards. Make sure you buy a dead lock key with these locks or you won't be able to open your cabinets when they're in locked mode!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Socket required

tot loks work - security

I installed deadlocks on the base cabinets in my nursery. They are not visible from the room and do a great job of keeping closets inaccessible to little ones. I keep the magnet on the top shelf so I can easily see and reach it. I have used a combination of drawer and shelf protectors in the past and love that they are discreet and don't leave a mark on the front of the wood.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Some problems

The best locks for cabinets. Worst installation guide ever.

These cabinet locks are really great. After installation there is no trace of them. My 1 year old yanks at boxes like crazy and they won't budge. We were even able to use this lock under our kitchen sink which has a very odd cabinet shape. On the other hand, the installation instructions are terrible! Watch the video below for a great installation overview: [.]The included installation stickers work very well.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Can be added

A qualified Yes!: Railings and Locks

These locks are the best solution I have tried for many applications but they are also VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL compared to others. I'm a carpenter, but that doesn't mean you can't install them with modest skills - however, there are plenty of opportunities to make mistakes from moving parts, ripping wood, stripping screws, or piercing a drawer/door front - must from the back be drilled within 1.8 inches of the face. Of course you can do this with caution, but caution takes time, and we all…

You can do that . Despite the worst instructions

Watch this REQUIRED YouTube video on how to install them first: [.] The video is extremely helpful but not perfect. I realized I need the following additional information: 1. The guy in the video tells us to use a 1/8th bit - use it to pre-drill small holes for the screws. The packaging instructions don't say or suggest this, but I think it's important.2. Looking at the template it couldn't be more confusing - I finally realized that the NUMBERS in the template are trying to show us the…

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
