Checks and analyzes motion and speed by simply aiming and synchronizing it's flash rate (FPM) with a rotating object. Read RPMs on 4 digit LED display. Duty cycles from 5 to 30 minutes and 1 second sampling time. Ideal for measuring the speed of moving gears, fans, pumps, motors and equipment used in general maintenance and production. High accuracy over a wide, dynamic range via exclusive microcomputer LSI circuit and crystal control time-base.

Not so good for testing, measuring and verifying

Good as a scope but twitches as a flash. Cannot stop movement like lightning would. Get the correct strobe speedometer instead.

Pros
  • 5 to 30 minute duty cycle and 1 second sample time
Cons
  • Very expensive

Keep searching. for motion, speed and power

Don't waste your money. This light is a damp match in a damp cave. For serious problems with the synchronization of industrial machines, this is not enough.

Pros
  • High accuracy over a wide dynamic range thanks to exclusive microcomputer LSI circuit and crystal control time base
Cons
  • Doubtful

This is a simple stroboscopic pulse generator for stopping the movement of rotating equipment such as spinning car wheels. It works great as advertised. Rotary knobs on the back of the device adjust the flash speed from just under 100 fps to 100,000 fps. FlashesPerMinute are displayed in red in the window above. The flash is not bright enough to be used in moderately bright light let alone sunlight. There is a threaded mounting socket on the bottom that allows you to install the device on a…
