Stopped working after one use

It was working when I bought it. Now, a few months later, he no longer feels any rotation. I only used it once briefly. Although the battery is fresh. It has a display, but it doesn't account for the spinning reflective tape you bought from Amazon. I messed up a test session I arranged with the engineering team

generates random numbers only

I put reflective tape on the flywheel of my 11hp Kohler engine. reflective tape and different positions and also when I started the engine and tried to get a reading and WOW the numbers were all over the place 300 800 150 400 900 ETC. I was able to guess the RPM better than it would display. I would NOT recommend this product.

Decent, easy-to-use tool, only downside is the quick auto shut-off

I bought this to calibrate a tachometer on a boat and it worked great! The laser comes with several reflective strips that you stick on the gear/pulley/object to be measured. I bought a few extra strips in case I want to measure something else in the future. must be turned on again. If it weren't for that little annoyance I would have given it 5 stars.
