I put reflective tape on the flywheel of my 11hp Kohler engine. reflective tape and different positions and also when I started the engine and tried to get a reading and WOW the numbers were all over the place 300 800 150 400 900 ETC. I was able to guess the RPM better than it would display. I would NOT recommend this product.
Pros
- Accuracy +/- 0.02 percent and can measure from 2" to 20" (50-500mm); RPM is measured for 0.5 seconds per sample time
