Leviton 80714-W No Device 1-Gang Blank Wallplate, Standard Size, White, Thermoplastic Nylon, Box Mount Review

This plate is perfect. My previous plate just fell off the wall, I saw them on Revain and had to order. I couldn't have picked anything more perfect if I went to the store and made it myself. It worked very well. Just a good solid board to cover up those old holes in the walls that were used for old phone cords etc.

I bought this wall panel to cover an old phone jack in my room that is no longer needed. This panel arrived quickly in the mail and was very easy to install with the hardware that came with it. This plate was cheap but solved my problem very well. I would recommend this product to a friend and I would buy it again.

Like many Leviton products, this is a simple piece of wiring, sold at a reasonable price and performs exactly as you would expect. In this case it is a blank panel that you use to cover an outlet/junction box that you no longer intend to use. (In my case I was replacing a coax outlet in a wall I wasn't using and it was pretty ugly with the coax grommet sticking out.)

This is a lighter white and different texture than the rest of my electrical enclosures. The texture is glossy while my others are shinier. It sits on a protruding wall at about 5.5ft, so that's a bit of a shame and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The attached picture shows no color difference, but the texture is visible.

Much better quality than the same size ones sold in HD (this one is smooth and shiny). There is one caveat though: they come without screws. I actually went to HD and bought a lower quality just to get the screws (less than $1) and install them. This warning should have been in the description but is nowhere to be found.

Screws not included! I ordered two of these and they arrived well with the necessary screws to install them. I realized that I needed a third assistant behind the sofa. Ordered another one and it came in different packaging without the two screws needed to mount it to the wall. Will return. The two I installed were difficult to screw in. The holes weren't perfectly round.

I removed the wall switch and used this blank wall plate to cover the exposed outlet. Looks good: very white color and fits well in the socket. I took off a star because the design is more flexible than I expected or liked. I'm used to harder plastic. I was concerned that too much pressure might warp the shape or break structural integrity.

Took 5 minutes to install. Screws are included, heads are painted white to blend with the plastic. The plastic square is not flimsy; it is good plastic. It's not cream-colored either; It is white plastic with a light glaze. I took the picture at night, so it's a bit dark there. (Can't wait for the day!) THE HARDEST PART: Align the screws with the sockets behind the stove. BIGGEST PLUS: Relieves the ugly plastic right next to the entrance. Although mismatched, it brightens up the old white walls

This is a $4.19 scam. Most single-line platters sell for less than $1. Even Leviton advertises them with a suggested retail price (MSRP) of 0.62 cents. Nowhere in the description does it say how many are in a PACK, but it shows a 10-pack priced at $9.99, which is about $1 each. Thus, one would think that the PACK described would contain at least 3, if not 5, per pack.
