Disappointing Shield Coating for Industrial Use

As a result of my tests, I determined that this conductive coating tape did not perform as well as expected in industrial and scientific settings. The adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold up to heavy use and the coating itself was prone to wear and tear. The only positive was that it was easy to apply. Overall, I would not recommend this product for any serious applications requiring a heavy duty coating.

Pros
  • Effective in shielding against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference
Cons
  • May cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals

This silver color is amazing. Extremely conductive and very easy to use, I use it for circuit repair or other architectural shielding projects. Use this when you need better shielding, better conductivity, or when using it in harsh or oxidizing environments. Since silver is fairly inert and will oxidize to silver oxide (which is still conductive) it is an excellent product with high reliability.
