In my Audio A4 (2013) it is plug and play. Unfortunately my car has a 2Gen system so I need the power cable but I just route it to the rear seat adapter so it's almost invisible. This handy little device gives me what my car should have by default: when I start the car, it connects instantly and my Android's music and audiobooks start playing through the sound system. Best $33 I've spent in a long time. I'll update this review if things get bad, but for now I'm very satisfied.

This product is perfect for my 2009 Audi A4. For the money this product is great. Adds Bluetooth capability to your car and the sound quality is pretty good I would say 8/10. I recommend setting the phone to half or just over half the volume when plugged in and adjusting it from there via the car itself. Annoying connection.
