Working in 2004. Wrqangler TJ

I was warned not to trust aftermarket builds for this sensor so went to the factory. I replaced the original from a 2004 Jeep Wrangler and it was pretty easy to install. I was apprehensive about using the threadlocker and the original fitting because I thought it would stick fairly well, but the two bolts came out a lot easier than I expected. It's a bit fiddly with the supports facing the back of the engine, but I did it in under an hour.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Fine

2 weeks and the crown king without dropouts

, I've been on the hunt for misfires, crank and camshaft sensors, O2 sensors, spark plugs and coil packs for months! It got to the point that this Mopar replaced the auto zone sensor, they were 8 years old, and a new battery that a bad battery would cause misfires. All of this spoke of tps going south and stalling at high revs and choppy idle. Tj runs and runs and just climbed to the king's crown with no problems (apart from the waterfall that blew my ass off, sometimes just looking for a line…

OEM TPS exact replacement for 2003 Wrangler with 4.0 engine

This is perfect. This fixed my TPS code and came with new screws. Current and ground to sensor were normal, voltage output was unstable. The original failed after 16 years. The check engine light has not been on for several months. Strange right? I am ASE Master certified and have worked on many vehicles please trust me do not waste your time installing aftermarket sensors on a Jeep 4.0! Mopar is the only way to replace electrical parts. Duralast TPS lasts a few months at best. Mopar will serve

Works but no screws.

The sensor worked but the screws didn't come. It was an open box but there was no description of the missing parts just the usual damaged packaging etc. I went to return it and Revane suggested I call to fix it. Did according to the information on the website (MOPAR). The person I spoke to said I had to go through the website, which I did. Customer service couldn't help but give me a unique website where I filled out some information for someone to contact me. They did it the next day and said…
