I'm keeping the tool because I think it will come in handy in the future

Extremely tough tool. I bought it to remove pulleys from lawnmower deck spindles, it worked for one but the other two were so rusty and corroded that they couldn't be freed. I'm keeping the tool because I believe it will come in handy in the future. I don't regret this purchase at all.

You need this to remove the V-belt pulley!

If you need to remove the V-belt pulley, this is what you need. Typical 2-jaw and 3-jaw pullers can bend or break even cast pulleys. The pulley is held firmly in the V-groove and the puller spreads the load, minimizing potential damage. This thing really saved me from a recent restoration of an old band saw. I just wish I had gotten one sooner.

I then attempted to cut a wood saw into a C shape to support the pulley and distribute the weight. Good thing it just cracked in half. So I ordered this tool and when I used it with a two tooth puller and applied heat I heard a happy…
