I have been using the DE razor for over a year now. I used a soft butterfly. Decided to experiment. Couldn't be happier. Shaved exactly as described. I would not recommend it for a beginner. Learn to shave with a gentle razor and experiment with blades. This parker is heavy and has a long handle. At an angle, it is more aggressive towards the skin.
