Excellent as all Pioneer radios/speakers. Looking strong for salty sea conditions! The regular price is too high. Be patient, they will lower the price anytime.

Not as crisp as hoped. The base is good, they can use a lot of power, but there are no mids and the highs are so-so. I guess I'll have to get used to that as I can't find triaxial speakers anywhere. I will miss my old 3-axis Maxxima speakers.

very satisfied. Replaced the stock Yamaha sx240 speakers with these. A million times better than stocks. I also have a subwoofer and would recommend it for low frequencies. This speaker has a very low sensitivity, which means it doesn't need many watts to get loud. I recommend these speakers.

I bought these and mounted them on my bathroom ceiling. They work well and hold up well to the high humidity from the shower. I lowered them for frequency response - 50-15000Hz +/- 4dB would be more acceptable. You can go up to 30Hz, but you won't hear it. middle and upper are acceptable. Bought for waterproofness.

I bought this for my pontoon. Installation was easy as I replaced similarly sized speakers. The only disappointment was the speaker decoupling magnitude of 0.110. They are not standardized and can only be purchased online. Western Marine had never heard of them. Also, they sound great, but I haven't left the Marina yet. I use music from jy ohone app via bluetooth.

Excellent speakers!. I have two 8" Pioneer marine speakers on my boat, as well as these two 6.5" speakers. I recently switched from 4" marine speakers to these 6.5" Pioneer TS-MR1640 and can say they make a world of difference in terms of sound and reliability. Do yourself a favor and buy boom mats to protect the back of your speakers from salt water corrosion!

These speakers were a perfect replacement for my Sony XS-MP1621 6.5 inch speakers which failed after only 2.5 years on a boat kept closed when not in use. I will never buy Sony speakers again. The Pioneer speakers fit easily into the 5" hole cutout and the smaller of the two hole patterns matches the holes on my Sony speakers perfectly. Easy exchange.
