Not worth the hype: my feedback

This product was a major let down in the bolts category of industrial and scientific fasteners. As my tests showed, the stainless steel was not as durable as advertised and easily corroded when exposed to the elements. It did not expand as seamlessly as expected and the installation process was quite difficult. The only pro was the affordable price point, but it's not worth sacrificing quality for cost. Overall, I do not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Easy to install and provides a strong hold to concrete surfaces.
Cons
  • Not suitable for use on surfaces other than concrete, limiting its versatility.

Shank not 6mm

Looks good but the shank is 3/8mm diameter not 6mm. If you plan to make a 1/4 inch hole and use them you will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • weak

It worked exactly as I thought it would.

I just installed. This took about 15 minutes. I was concerned because there are no instructions. Castles on mortars were very sneaky. I don't think it's going anywhere. Cheap Lowes D-rings work great. You will need: * a 6mm or 15/64 drill bit * a drill bit * a hammer * a 10mm wrench to turn the nut * pliers to hold the bolt while turning.

Pros
  • Hardware
Cons
  • Available in white only
