This Blu-ray player freezes from time to time. I don't know why, but it's a little annoying. This is my second Samsung Blu-ray player that I currently own, both are different models and neither are suitable for Netflix streaming. There are a few tricks you can find online like deleting your Netflix account and reinstalling it, which seems to help a little, or a system reset, but if your main reason for buying this item is Netflix, do it it not. I bought this with my new Samsung HDTV. The TV is a 'smart' TV so I really wish the Blu-ray player had wifi access for updates. The player connected very quickly, adding to my Wi-Fi network was easy and no online updates were required. It plays very quickly compared to the Sony Blu Ray player I connected to another TV, but there is a little hissing during playback.
