Just Good Enough - Auto & Vehicle Electronics

The one I received fits fine but there is an uneven surface like yours can see in the top left corner next to the mute icon. The brackets aren't very rigid so I was able to add factory ones which made the installation more secure. If you have a lightweight main unit, the included mounts will suffice. Installed on Mazda 3 since 2012.

Pros
  • Precision is designed for a gap free fit between dash and dash
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

It fits in the hole, but not very well.

Works but poor fit/finish. It does not exactly match surrounding finishes such as an OEM built-in radio/bezel. The gaps aren't even, it's offset a few millimeters in relation to the vents above it, and there are other installation issues that just don't look right. It's decent but if I could I would honestly say 2.5 stars.

Pros
  • Easy installation. No special tools are required. Includes step-by-step instructions.
Cons
  • Not working.

Fits aftermarket radio for M3 2010

It's a black plastic frame AND (at least on my packaging) a black box or bag that you can screw in to fill the gap with a single slot radio (single din) or leave it for a larger one with a screen (double din). . The frame looks good and works as advertised. The radio is firmly in place. Of course it doesn't have the roundness of the original radio in the M3, but that suits me. An additional bag on the floor is a very useful addition to the cabin.

Pros
  • Fits dual din stereos with max screen size/bezel hole 3 13/16" x 6 13/16" (96.8mm x 173mm)
Cons
  • Appearance

Does its job at a reasonable price. MAZDA 3 i 2011

I'll admit that the all-plastic design made me a little concerned that it might break anywhere during installation, but it was harder than I imagined. I would give it a 5 out of 5 but something about the color just doesn't feel right. It's not as dark as the factory stereo, so it doesn't look like the rest of the dashboard. Maybe it's just me and the fact that I'm very used to the color of the old stereo, so don't pay me too much attention. Worked, my stereo didn't fall out of the socket so I'm

Pros
  • Allows the installation of a new factory aftermarket stereo system.
Cons
  • Minor issues

Needs to be checked before shipping

I have it received with a clean The bottom part is torn in the middle, the only thing holding it together is the top part. I'm not thrilled, I would send it back if I didn't need a radio mount so I just super glued it on. I don't know if it broke upon delivery or if it came off the shelf that way.

Pros
  • Suitable for double din stereos with a maximum screen size/aperture of 3 13/16" x 6 13/16" (96.8mm x 173mm)
Cons
  • Some small things

Totally Dissatisfied

Absolutely not satisfied. The product itself matches the color but seems a little off although that may be my fault as I had to modify it to try and fit a 2 din radio in it. The hole is about 1/4", so my radio is angled in the unit with the top but bottom pushed out about an inch, which is annoying. Not sure about the single din app but i had this problem with 2 separate 2 din receivers from 2 different brands both with a plain 6.2 inch screen.

Pros
  • Allows installation of a new aftermarket stereo at the factory.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Pros
  • Precisely designed to ensure a gap-free fit between dash and dash kit
Cons
  • Big and bulky
