So far BIG bandsaws!

I have been using a band saw blade for about 2 months. I cut a lot of steel with one blade! I was actually looking for Starrett band saws to buy. For me the name Starret speaks for itself! I recommend these blades to my friends and will buy them again!

Pros
  • Suitable for cutting structural and tubular sections and bundles of tubes
Cons
  • Expensive

The back of the blade is broken and cracked in many places

Never seen anything like it. With this disc we cut metal pipes with a diameter of 1.5 mm. Less than 100 cuts. We tried this brand, not our previous one, Lenox. The Lenox brand existed for several months. The teeth on this blade did not wear out, the back of the blade cracked and broke off. This isn't the first blade we've ever used. The blade was no stronger than the Lenox. That just looks too complicated to me. I do not recommend it and will not buy it again.

Pros
  • Bi-metal blade for cutting mild steel
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great blade for 14 " band saws

Wow what makes a good blade. I'm having trouble cutting aluminum plate with a standard steel saw blade on my 14" Asian band saw. This blade effortlessly cuts aluminum and steel without the use of cutting oils. I cut a 1" aluminum plate and a 1/2" hot rolled steel plate. Very fast, very clean. I went back to order another one as a backup but the original seller left and the other seller wanted 4x more ($11 vs $44). Very nice, highly recommended.

Pros
  • Positive rake angle for interrupted cuts
Cons
  • New competition is here
