Colors come randomly but still a good product

I was really hoping to get the red but my fiancé still loves it. The elevator key works, although I wouldn't overdo it. When powered on, it shuffles across flat surfaces, small multicolored lights flashing inside its head. The robot is really very smart.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Compatibility

You get what you pay for.

I like that this is a metal toy. Maybe a slightly better type of material. The so-called sparks it has to produce as it moves can be a lot better than they say. This is a copy of "Robbie the Robot" from the movie "Forbidden Planet". So there's not much to complain about. It's still very cool.

Fantastic Robot in Novelty & Gag Toys

Brought back a lot of childhood memories I haven't had a clockwork robot in a long time I've noticed people complain about winding and spring brakes so be careful when winding. this is not a toy for children i liked it very much it came in red i was very excited when i opened the box it arrived at my house on time

Pros

It's worth seeing the smile on my grandson's face.

Very cheaply made. The spring is weak and I thought it broke when I first started it. I just twisted it a couple of times and it started clicking. She didn't go long and had to be wounded again. After gifting this toy to my grandson and seeing how much he liked it. I had to change my rating. I suspect the spring just needed to be broken in because it works well now.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Quality

A high quality Schlock toy based on a sci-fi classic. Disappointing

This was my second Robbie Robbie Robot Mechanical Planet and I bought it based on my high expectations for my first model. For those of you unfamiliar with this legendary 1950's superstar, Robbie first appeared in MGM's classic 1950's American science fiction film Forbidden Planet (MGM 1956), in which he starred alongside Leslie Nielson, Ann Francis and Walter starred. Dove. In fact, Robbie stole the show with his great one-liners and booming voice. Robbie Robbie set the standard for all other…
