🔑 VOFONO Self-Programmable Key Fob for Chevy Suburban Tahoe GMC Yukon (2015-2020) with PUSH TO START - Chip Included Review

The first thing that struck me was the good workmanship. When we bought our Tahoe I only had one key, so I had to go through all the programming steps without having two transmitters recognizable. It took about 40-45 minutes but it worked. I have included a snapshot of the steps from the mychevy app for the steps I had to take.

The product looks ok but the problem is you have to take it to the dealer to program it for my car and they won't tell you. Remote so you have to go online to find out some models you can't program and they have to tell you in advance, very disappointed

I went to one of the programming pages in the key fob information printout and found a manual for a 2017 Tahoe. The instructions were easy and in about 3 minutes I had programmed my replacement key fob! I have yet to find someone to cut the key, but I think a local hardware store chain can do it relatively cheaply.

Perfectly programmed the first time. Worked on my 2016 GMC Yukon Denali with FOB transmitter onboard programmer. Just follow the instructions in the user manual or on Google. I saved over $300 by skipping the dealership, buying this and programming it myself. I had an included blank key that was cut by a locksmith for $20. This deal can't be beat. I can buy another one as a backup.

Relatively easy to program - even remote start works before you get in the car. Now all I have to do is cut the key. I had a bit of trouble getting my Denali out of programming mode so it would show that I still have the remote in my car and alert me and other functions didn't work.
