Image quality for scanners and accessories

I'm just starting to use the scanner and haven't had any problems so far. It was very easy to set up and has worked well so far. Feed 135, 127 is really easy to use. I only scanned a 120 negative so I'm not sure how easy and fast it will be to use 120 film. I would buy it again!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • I can't remember, but something happened

Works perfectly! for slide and negative scanners

Easy to use, works with black and white and color negatives as well as color positive slides. easy to download on Mac or PC. I bought one with additional features and everything was useful. Can even make 120 movies; but I shot mostly on 35mm. You might want to buy a feather duster (my old slide film collected a lot of dust.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Frequency

A great tool for those who have done a lot of shooting on film.

I was able to look at my negatives straight away as it is very easy to use. I bought these more to identify the photos that were in the negatives folders. I suggest that if I want to reprint a negative I take it to a high end photo lab. I am very happy.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative print

Works as advertised

A friend suggested this scanner and after looking at the specs I decided it would suit my needs. Of course I was right. This product works effectively as advertised. Scanning can be set up on the scanner (as opposed to a connected computer), making the process much more efficient. The end results are very satisfactory. The resolution is very good. I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • dull packaging

Almost what you need

Didn't get 5 stars because it would be nice to be able to control backlight intensity, mainly for burnt slides. However, you can work around this by changing the position of the slider. However, this thing is a no-brainer. I have over 800 slides and it's a quick and easy assembly line. The built-in memory card lets you quickly save those 4 to 6 megabyte images, then simply connect the card or USB cable to your desktop or laptop computer for transfer and editing. Pros
  • Slide and negative scanner
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Reasonable quality scans, good for good shots

I think I was spoiled for scanning 35mm images with the Minolta Dimage 5400 scanner which not only scans film but also applies autofocus to the final scan . This device, which I bought specifically to scan medium format images, does not. I think someone would be ridiculed by comparing this device to a device that costs four times the price, but I think it's fair that any potential buyer should be aware of that. It scans negatives, but the resulting image is far from "high quality" and should be
