Was initially skeptical because of the huge silica gel bag, so put it in a room with a humidity sensor. A week later our stock plastic camping supplies were almost completely dry with about 4-5 bags in the room and the humidity had dropped about 15-20% since they arrived. We live in a humid southern climate and humidity is inevitable in summer, especially during sudden storms. For camping gear or other items, we would recommend a large box like this to store them and protect them from moisture.

Unbeatable price. These are by far the best moisture absorbers I've ever used. You work fast. And helped with certain areas of our apartment that were damp and that we believe had mold before we moved in. I received it promptly despite a problem with my order. I've used hanging Dumfries in the past and this box of 10 looked just as big as the box of 2. But there were really 10 pieces in it. Only they are "Package Size: 6.3*5.6*5.5" which you can skip in the above description. But even that is not accurate. This is about half the size of wet hanging bags based on a bag-to-bag comparison. They weren't cheaper, so a trap product: no greater benefit, 1/2 size, same price as branded product. No win.
