All in all, these wrenches do the job!

Box wrenches are very useful for adjusting different types of adjustable coils in car or motorcycle shock absorbers. The weight and thickness of the wrenches are good, but it seems that the tip of the house regulator piece needs a little more reinforcement material; it wears out faster.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Something Different

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Solid piece of metal, weak powder coating

The metal itself is strong and hard. I checked the installation of my Raceland coilovers and as another reviewer said, the hook doesn't go all the way into the groove. Also, the powder coating chipped off when I took the tools out of the box. The tool works as you would expect from a generic tool.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good Design - Suspension Tools

They are solid and well designed. Please note that if you order a set of 3, you will receive one 55-65mm wrench and two 80-90mm wrenches. I mention this because if you scroll down to read the description it says 3 sizes. The 65-75mm wrench is not included in the 3 piece set. You need to order a set of 4 to get a 65-75mm wrench.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Good build but poor design - universal wrench doesn't fit anywhere

Well built tool but not for me. Application Kawasaki Showa damper coil spring lock nut. The radius of curvature of the tool is not suitable for these locknuts (60mm), so the hook does not go deep enough into the groove so that it just pops out of the locknut when trying to turn the wrench. I believe that goes for any of these multipurpose keys. I'll try either a precision or an adjustable wrench to see if it works better.

Pros
  • Cool product

  • Some cons

Solid piece of metal, light powder coating

The metal itself is strong and hard. I checked the installation of my Raceland coilovers and as another reviewer said, the hook doesn't go all the way into the groove. Also, the powder coating chipped off when I took the tools out of the box. The tool works as you would expect from a generic tool.

Pros
  • High reliability and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Functionality

Good workmanship but bad design - universal key doesn't fit anywhere

Well designed tool but it didn't suit me.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Easy repairability

Does the job in steering and suspension tools

I put this on a used BC coilover as the previous owner lost his wrenches. that the spanner actually slipped a lot when adjusting the coilover suspension and led to severe muscle fatigue. The lack of a rubber or grip base on the handle caused mild cramps after the wrench was used for some time. Pros: + Affordable + Available in many size ranges + Universal workshop tool Cons: - No rubber on handle - Tooth shape on wrench not ideal for coilovers (lots of slippage) - Didn't have nice packaging…

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
