Lots of cracks

This grout is not suitable for wet areas or where the gap is larger than 1/8 inch as it cracks easily. I used this all over the room and cracks appeared everywhere as in the photo. Where water does not come into contact, it also tears in dry places. Not sure how they get so many 5 star reviews - the manufacturer must be writing fake ones.

Pros
  • Sealant
Cons
  • Some small things

worked well and essentially matched the mortar. Dried, cracked, separated from tub and shower around tub and shower (used in two bathrooms) and leaking water. I had to scrub everything out, wipe it down with denatured alcohol and use white silicone to seal the tub and shower instead. Tiles have faded color. I stopped the grout at the edge, taped the painted wall and used this product to get a nice edge at the end of the tile.

Pros
  • Adhesives, sealants and lubricants
Cons
  • Without instructions

Very thin consistency.

I ordered this from Lacticrete as an alternative to the same colour. It seems to be a pretty good color match, maybe a bit darker. The big problem I have with this sealant is that it is very runny. It's fairly easy to apply, but cumbersome due to the amount that's left in the tube when you stop applying. I know how to unload the piston of a caulking gun. I also not only released the pressure, but pulled the piston out of the end of the tube. Product continued to flow from the applicator spout…

Pros
  • Silicone sealant
