Natural bars of soap usually last a couple of weeks but the protection block added an additional 3-4 weeks to the life of my soap. Definitely worth the investment in the long run and looks cool to my liking.

I still have one from Dr. Squatch and she is MUCH better and cheaper. The print on the one I had before is blurry and difficult to read. The printing on it is very clear and you can read it as if it were printed on paper. Definitely smells like cedar wood, has no splinters and the workmanship is great. This will make your soap last twice as long as it won't "melt" on the wet rim of the tub. There are no complaints about this soap dish.
