I still don't trust this Wallet

After a little abandonment by the developers, this wallet just spiralled back to life with the developers adding more functionalities, cryptocurrencies and features to the wallet to increase it's old infrastructure. The wallet then went from being obsolete, to a great tool to interact with especially for developers, mostly inexperienced ones, to toy around with this features which can still be used in the real world. This features actually endeared me to this wallet but I can't seem to stay, why, I don't trust this wallet. I have seen a lot of negative feedbacks as regards deposits, which I did try out, it worked perfectly fine but afterwards, my balance disappeared. I then exported my private key to a different wallet and my balance was shown again. What I then came to discover is that the wallet faces a hard time synchronizing with the current block and this makes some transactions disappear only to reappear a few moments later.
For now, I will only be using this wallet to play around with it's Token creation features because having a wallet where you cannot trust the developers due to their previous record of abandoning their work seems absurd to me. I wouldn't recommend this wallet for crypto safekeeping

Pros
  • The wallet has begun receiving attention from it's developers which made them begin to update it
  • The wallet is open source and private keys of its users are not under their control
  • The wallet supports easy token creation and a decentralised exchange to trade them
Cons
  • The user interface for the wallet is not easy to grasp for new users as it seems the wallet is more targeted towards developers
  • There has been negative feedbacks from users despite the upgrades
