The rising advertising exchange industry is a crowded field. This is up against other blockchain projects seeking to accomplish similar goals such as Bitclave, Basic Attention Token, qChain, and adChain. AdEx’s unique angle is transparency, unrestricted access, and no fees for using their service. This platform looks promising. Also the good thing about this team is that the platform and its protocol is simpler and agile to incorporate with exiting Ad infrastructure rather creating their own entry points to provide their solution.

They have released AdEx v4.0 on mainnet. This new version of the AdEx platform is significantly different from the previous one as it is based on the newly developed AdEx protocol.

The new version of the AdEx platform is now integrated with first large publisher Stremio. This means that AdEx ads are now broadcast to an audience of 7+ million users across the globe.

  • •There are too many competitors in the blockchain advertising exchange space (Brave, Bitclave, adChain). •I felt the quality of their whitepaper as to explaining the problem and solution lacked depth and a more in-depth treatment of the technology used behind their platform may have helped.
