Review on Safe Haven by Robiul Islam

Building Solutions for Inheritance, Asset Distribution and Asset Control.

Safe Haven uses blockchain to build digital trust among users, without the need for an intermediary to track, verify, and approve any digital exchanges. Safe Haven, however, will not transfer funds directly to their user successors. Instead, they will use a number of protocols and technologies to encrypt and decrypt private keys into shares, which can then be distributed to family / friends in a transparent and secure way.

Safe Haven offers a unique idea for solving real and urgent problems, not just in the cryptocurrency space, but with the legacy of digital assets. The team provides a specific use case for the real world and crypto space. The team looks like it has the experience needed to avoid it, not the star but already has all the necessary skills.

But it will be difficult to take the mainstream because most people will not trust an "unknown" platform. Positioning itself as a trusted asset management platform will be their major challenge in the coming months and years. Overall Safe Haven looks like a promising project, the team has made some right decisions so far, and I believe the project has a chance to succeed in the future if they can continue to do so.

Pros
  • They’re offering a simple solution to a very real issue that isn’t being addressed properly. They’ve been around the crypto space since late 2017 Without too much hype surrounding the project, the team is working to create products and services.
  • Safe Haven regardless of the current adoption levels, blockchain technology investors are facing the current problems that they face today. The blockchain was designed to be immutable and unable to hack / change without the direct permission of the private key holder. Right now if an investor suddenly dies in a situation, they are likely to tell their personal keys to nobody. As a result of this, not only damaged funds, tokens are now "lost" and are inaccessible due to the nature of blockchain technology. Safe Haven provides a "Safe Haven" for a variety of purposes.
  • Considering this as a new project, It has some dynamic support. Powered by VeChain, the team have Sunny Lu on their advisory board along with some excellent partners including VeChain. Some strong support here which is something sole competitor Digipulse really lacks in.
Cons
  • My general concern about these types of platforms is the longevity / lifetime of the project and its validity as the cranking time comes down.
  • They have their own method but they are NOT first movers in this space.
