Great portable monitor.

I was looking for a large, high definition portable monitor for my 17" LG Gram and this monitor fit the bill! I currently have an AOC 15.6" and a 17.3" G-Story but this one external monitor is by far my favorite Here's what I like best about this monitor: * It has a large screen size comparable to my laptop * Runs at a high 4K resolution Although the fonts may be too small if you adjust the settings don't change * It's very light and thin compared to the monitor G-Story but it's thin and light in every way Just one USB-C port, nice that it supports pass-through charging, which it is to me allows to power the monitor and charge my laptop by plugging the monitor into an external battery or wall outlet.bulky.It also has a good enough grip to stay in place at different angles.*Works with Samsung phones n and has regular USB ports in case you want to use a wired keyboard and mouse. Some things that would be nice to have: *As mentioned in another review, the up and down buttons are upside down. annoying but not that bad. * Screen settings such as display brightness are not saved when using the USB-C port after power off. According to the seller, this is to prevent the monitor from turning on when users connect the phone via USB-C, which may not have enough power for high brightness settings. It's not too bad once I figure out I can skip the menu by holding down the bottom button to bring up the brightness settings and then pressing that button a few more times to toggle the brightness settings from 1 to around 3 or 4 to change.* Portrait mode seems to work over HDMI but not over USB-C when I tried to set it up in my laptop's display settings. No problem for me.* Screen protector included. However, I wasted both of my because I couldn't put them on fast enough to avoid the dust. Maybe I just haven't had the experience of installing screen protectors for large screens, but the stickers that come with the dust collection kit didn't help me. It might be better to just use your own tape. Overall I am very happy with this monitor and Cocopar's customer support team is very responsive and helpful. FYI, this brand also has really good reviews as I checked the blogs in Japanese when searching for Cocopar.
