Works well with Pi 400

I bought this monitor to use as the main monitor for my Raspberry Pi 400 (keyboard with Raspberry Pi 4 built in). This works very well. I've attached an image of a Pi 400 playing a youtube video with sound through the monitor's speakers. The video quality is excellent; The sound is what you would expect from tiny speakers that have to match the monitor's form factor. The monitor control worked as expected. I could turn the sound on and off and choose between two possible video inputs. The monitor has a mini HDMI input and two bi-directional USB Type-C ports. One of the USB-C ports is used to power the monitor (in my case via the included wall socket) (at least 2 amps, which some devices the case is). may not be able to deliver; therefore the wall wart is used as a backup). The remaining USB-C port can be used to send touch information from the monitor back to the device, or for other operations you can perform with the USB-C port. I haven't tested the Pi 400's touch capabilities. The status is good. It rotates 180 degrees and tilts back about 25%. This arrangement ensures a nearly vertical installation and when rotating and flipping the monitor, a nearly horizontal orientation with all possible intermediate positions. This is very handy when it's easy for your device to indicate that you've flipped the display upside down. Double amp wall wart. A USB-A to USB-C cable should have been in the box but I didn't receive it. Luckily I had some on hand. It is needed to connect the wall wart to the monitor. This Pi/Monitor kit is quite portable. And since the Pi 400 is only $100, it's a good sub-$250 laptop that can play videos, surf the web, and entertain kids. One little thing I knew when I ordered the monitor: it doesn't come with a protective case. If you plan to carry your monitor with you, you need to find a way to protect it. Since it was clear when ordering that no suitcase would be offered, I did not deduct a star. The instruction manual is much better than average. It's easy to read, well organized, and covers everything you need to know. This is a 4.5 star rating due to the lack of a USB cable. I round up to 5.
