Works very well. Clamps can damage wood so make sure there is something soft between them and the table/surface you are mounting them on.

Arkon's tablet holder is a great product. It works with both my iPad and Samsung Nexus tablets. The clamp is secure, and the adjustable arm mount with swivel ball joint makes it easy for me to position my tablets for the perfect view.

Not compatible with iPad Pro. Not even close. All plastic except for the bottom collar. The clips there didn't match either - a mismatched sentence inside. The ball clamps are plastic, not metal like the ram mount. Get what you pay for 😒. Returned. I'll look for something else that will hold an expensive tablet securely.

Absolutely perfect and durable part, good grip and compatible with or without a case as shown in the pictures. I use it with a 2018 6th generation iPad on a SPECK Balance case mainly as a remote surface to control midi instruments or digital audio workstation (DAW) functions. I can flip it and quickly install it with the screw on the side and you will feel the superior quality of the different components. Good product.

I thought it was an overpriced plastic iPad clip but it looked like what I needed so I bought it. As it turns out this thing is super strong, it's probably half metal half plastic and very strong. Aside from the knob you turn to secure it to the table (or whatever else you clamp, including round objects like a trumpet or music stand), there's only one other knob to deal with, around angles and alignment to mount. , which is very nice. I saw it at CES and bought it directly from ARKON a week ago. I use it in my bedroom to read at night and surf the internet by attaching it to my headboard. The rotation setting allows me to position the screen in a comfortable position so I don't have to hold the tablet. I have a home recording studio that needed an update so I had a brilliant idea when I saw the TABRM086. When reading scripts, I find using the Surface RT to be a lot easier than trying to read from a regular monitor, and I couldn't find an easy way to keep it on par. Of course I can hold the Surface in my hand, but that just doesn't work for long scenarios. I needed something to hold my tablet to myself!
