Wow, I was surprised to find this steam cleaner extremely effective in reducing and removing dirt from high traffic areas in my home. My stairs tend to get very dirty from daily use and we don't even wear shoes at home! I found this great for small areas where you can really focus on your cleaning efforts. The shower in the bathroom is also a great place to use it! I'm sure I'll find more places around the house to use this.

I got this for cleaning very dusty fabric blinds. This was mentioned as a possibility. It didn't help the blinds, but it's a very good device. It puts out a lot of hot steam, almost like a burner but with steam. It heats up quickly and is a great way to get plenty of warmth that only depends on the temperature or the wand. My long extension hose suddenly started escaping steam from the end connection where the cleaning accessory was attached, almost BURNING my arm. It came loose or detached and broke off. This product does not reach 150 degrees Fahrenheit, which is required to clean and disinfect items. With the thermometer held on the tip at full power it barely reaches 120 degrees, if you stand even an inch from the nozzle it drops to 80 degrees instantly, it's not hot at all from there, you can literally get on your hand puff and don't even feel hotter than a steaming pot of water and it probably hotter than this thing, definitely false temperature claims.
