    Good portable monitor, only Type-C input, no HDMI, no sound

    This monitor is more versatile than other portable monitors. First thing I will say is that it is lighter but still quite heavy. The Mac screen clamps only seem to work well with this monitor, which is why the monitor sags backwards. Unfortunately, computers like Surface Book Loops don't hold this up very well.     Well executed solution, almost perfect

    It's not perfect, but close. If you're looking to add a second screen to the side of your laptop screen, this is a pretty good solution. Of course, you can get one of those external monitors that stand on a stand and don't attach to your laptop for a lot less money, but believe me, mounting it to your laptop is way better. It's just better positioned than using an extra screen separate from your laptop. And it's more convenient to have it right there without putting a second monitor on a table…

    Lasts less than 1 year with moderate use.

    The magnets holding it to the back of the laptop are strong and the construction is solid enough. My screen broke last week which means about 11 months of moderate use, by no means daily. Visual clarity is okay at best, it's not bright enough to match your main display and colors are pretty bland. .     If you are looking for a portable monitor, stop looking and buy one.

    This rating is based on absolute honesty because I like to convince buyers who love reading reviews. I wasn't really looking for anything like this and then came across a Kickstarter campaign for DUEX. I decided to take a risk and choose DUEX Plus. I have absolutely no regrets with the purchase as it is the perfect companion if you need to multitask.     Really comfortable in my rating

    This portable monitor comes in handy when you're on the go and need an extra monitor! My only real concern is that my laptop's screen may look too heavy. The price is also a bit high for what you get. Otherwise I would definitely recommend it to most people!

    As advertised and improves performance

    Duex Lite is very easy to install and use and easy to carry. It fits snugly in my laptop bag so I can use it at home and in the office which is great as it has increased the amount of work I can get done in a day. An added bonus is the professional design and look of the product.
