That's what you get!

В отличие от других карт PCIe USB 3.0, которые я пробовал (4 других) эта работает.!У меня 2 компьютера, один с XP SP3 и один с Win 7 SP1, и эта карта работает на обоих out of them. I have connected 4 Western Digital external hard drives to these computers that can use USB 3.0 and after using them for years with the USB 2.0 ports that these machines come with, I wanted to implement the faster transfer speeds available over USB 3.0 are available. I've tried several different cards from different…

A few tips for Windows 10 Oculus Rift owners.

The rest is included, so here are my impressions: 1. Installation is quite easy. The mainboard must have a slot to connect the appropriate cable from the power supply. If you've never dug into your computer before, don't be intimidated. Just make sure you unplug the power cord from your computer before doing anything, remove static electricity from your body (like touching a metal object in the room), and don't disconnect anything inside the computer when you move. Close everything, reconnect…

BIG USB 3 card / I recommend the Inateck KT4001 / KTU3FR-4P for Win10.

If you need a USB 3 card with USAP but don't need USB-C or USB 3.1 and are using Windows 10 (or 8/7/XP), then this card might be for you. USAP makes this card pretty fast, assuming your USB device supports it. If you are using Windows 10, all you need to do is: - turn off the computer - insert and secure the card - connect the card to a SATA power adapter (15-pin power) - boot the computer and wait for "boot stops". Now Windows 10 and the Inateck card should be ready to go, because the driver…

Not working: I/O port cards

I work in IT support with 20 years experience so it's unlikely to be user error. The device does not work and it is too much hassle to return it for its price. They gave me no problems, it's just that the shipping or a trip to Kohl's isn't worth the $5 or so I paid. Problem. Connecting power to the board activates the switch in my PSU at startup. The power cables are properly matched, the color matches the color. One of the 4 Molex wires came loose from the connector so I had to pinch/reset it…

The missing parts failed after a few months!

So I bought this card based on the many positive reviews, the price and the fact that it was recommended for Oculus users. First, the card arrived in two pieces (the backplate and the board itself) but without the screws needed to assemble it. Luckily, before I sent it back for an exchange/refund, I found a few that fit. After a few months, I started noticing warnings in Windows that some devices were turning off periodically. It wasn't until I started using my Oculus again that I realized the…

Still works for OG Oculus Rift on Windows 10

I bought this card for my Ryzen 5 3600 B550 system which only has 2 USB 3.0 controllers (despite a whopping 8 3.0 ports). I still have the original Oculus Rift but with a 3x sensor for better tracking. I just had to move one of my sensors to this card for the Oculus software to make the connection happy (headset and 2 front sensors on USB 3.0, my rear sensor on 2.0). The card installed with no issues and booted into Windows 10. , no manual driver installation is required. I only had 2 minor…
