Best on the market but not good enough

This is a great device, I really liked it; for some time. I have a gaming PC and a working Macbook Pro. Connecting is easy, but the cables are very thick. They keep coming out of my wiring harness under the table. I am using USB-C to DisplayPort for my computer and am experiencing screen tremors where artifacts and stuttering appear from time to time. There is also a display port to a display port. On a Mac I'm having issues where the device won't boot after switching inputs when the device is…

I love this KVMP! - KVM switches

I love this KVMP. I have an IBM ThinkPad laptop with Win7 and a new Dell desktop with Win10 connected to KVMP and it works fine. I've been using the IOGear DVI KVMP 4-port for years and it's worked great too. However, I wanted to switch to a DisplayPort connection on my 24-inch HP display, so I went with that option. I like the ability to switch using the keyboard (double-tap the Scroll Lock button and then press Enter). It works fast and has never let me down unless I messed up the flow (e.g…

Works great after some tweaking

Bought new from Revain in December and initially had some issues with KVM not showing the second computer's display when switching. Worked great on iBuyPower PCs with GTX 1080 graphics and Windows 10 every time this PC was selected. But for some reason my NUC7i7BNH Linux computer (Debian) had problems with not sending any video output. The display would go black and eventually go to sleep. When switching to a Windows 10 PC immediately, the display would wake up and work perfectly. After trying…

A piece of junk for such an expensive thing.

I am connecting this KVM between a Lenovo P50 laptop with a docking station running Windows 10 and a Windows 10 homemade desktop. that the signal is not 60 Hz. I fixed this by constantly unplugging and plugging the cable back in (after swapping cables 3 times thinking I might have a bad one.) But the most interesting thing was when other machines went to sleep/standby. mouse I've tried changing a number of power and energy saving settings, but nothing. Then my wireless USB mouse kept losing…

Does what it says on the box

We all know that desktop KVM is generally an unreliable technology, but it's more reliable than most. I have a 2017 Macbook Pro, a Windows 10 desktop, a 27" Dell 4k monitor and various peripherals. In general, I can successfully switch back and forth. Macbooks sometimes have trouble feeding video to a Dell monitor, but I think it's a displayport issue in recent versions of OSX and I was able to get it working mainly by updating the displayport driver (if you're having trouble with the laptop…

Very happy with this KVM switch.

Purchased to replace a failed TrippLite DisplayPort KVM switch. Too bad I didn't spend extra money to get started with this. He works like a champ. I have no problem managing three monitors and the only time I've had the issue of my monitors not being recognized properly was when they were powered off over the weekend. At TrippLite, this was a daily occurrence. My configuration is my home PC with an nVidia K620 graphics card connected to one KVM input and a Dell work laptop connected to the…
