This is a disk on internal SSDs

It seems to work fine on an old laptop with Debian testing. UPDATE: It died completely after a week, causing three different test computers to freeze. during POST, corrupting the BIOS on one of them. I would give zero stars if I could.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Useless features

You get what you pay for

I have ordered 4 of these discs. Out of 4 of my computers, 3 didn't even realize they were there. The other was 50/50, sometimes Windows recognized it, sometimes it didn't. Never worked on my Apple machines. To be honest, spend another $5-10 to buy Kingston, Samsung or any other well-known brand. This saves you a lot of time and nerves.

Pros
  • Convenience
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good product works as advertised

brand name? Who knows, over the past few years I've bought SSDs for various PC builds starting at 120GB. All types of brands work well, some advertise fast transfer write speeds but bottom line they all work and run faster than any hybrid or HHD card, none have failed, can't say you're wary of USB or SD cards must be a lot of junk and fakes, but SSD drives are no problem!

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Having trouble

Great SSD for the money.

I ordered this to replace the 2TB hard drive in my PS4. The hard drive, although a gaming hard drive, failed to impress me after a while. Everything started very well, but after a while it seemed to slow down. I put it in and WOW! what a huge difference. I definitely recommend this brand, I had never heard of it until I bought it. I think it was a great $164.99 investment for 2TB of storage and functionality for my PS4.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not sure

Lightning fast for a normal computer.

I have installed multiple SSDs on different computers and have always been very happy with the results. Although I have never heard of this brand, I will definitely be buying them again based on this latest update. I really think this upgrade is the most useful upgrade you can make. It would be more convenient if it came with cloning software, but since free software is readily available, it doesn't matter. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • There are flaws

Not 512GB but works fine

I bought this Leven 512GB SSD to replace the spinning hard drive in my aging laptop. As expected, performance improved significantly. Started with a fresh install of Windows 10 which only showed a capacity of 476.9GB (488,386MB) and NOT 512GB as advertised. Crystal Disk Mark also listed a capacity of 476GB instead of the advertised 512GB. ran Crystal Disk Mark immediately after installation and a few more times during the week. The results were on the level of expected performance for a solid…

Perfect for PS4 Pro

Bought for my PS4 Pro and boy does it work. Changing discs was quick and easy. Follow the online instructions to reset the operating system. Started well with no problems. In total it took about 30 minutes. The system loads much faster than most games (sorry, AC Odyssey and Valhalla are still slow as hell). And downloads are faster. The speed has been increased from 80 Mbit/s to 320 Mbit/s. My guess is that the lack of a buffer means the DLs are reduced to the speed at which the disk can store…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Doesn't fit my PS4 Pro for some reason!

Bought a 2TB Leven SSD in March 2021. I upgraded my PS4 Pro from a 1TB WD Blue SSD to a 2TB Leven SSD. I was happy for over a month and then I noticed that my PS4 Pro takes longer than usual to turn on and when navigating through the menu to select a game it takes longer than usual for game images to load and the overall performance bad and annoying. I used a 1TB WD Blue SSD again and everything was fine. As for the 2TB Leven SSD, it is in my PC for further testing. My take on this is to stick…

Pros
  • Test results unchanged
Cons
  • Upgradable

Satisfied so far

This drive is used in an external USB enclosure to move large files from one computer to another and to store temporary backups for reinstallations. At this point, my impression is that this is a very good, inexpensive drive that performs well. It performs all the functions of a portable backup. Reading from HDD to this 256GB LEVEN, my write speed starts at 110MB/s and stabilizes between 78-85MB/s or 640MB/s when transferring large files through a USB 3.0 enclosure and 3.0 hub which I think is…
