    Great monitor, exactly as described! Love it! It has a VESA mount and the back is flat, so there are no installation problems, which was one of the most important parameters for me.     I had a monitor that was about to die a miserable death so I really couldn't wait that long. After shopping I thought it was a decent price for the size and settled on the 27 inch model.     Good office monitor for the price.

    Pros: Easy setup in 2 minutes, Includes cables for both inputs, AFFORDABLE. Cons: Just enough brightness, poor contrast. The latter means you really don't want to watch TV with it. Recreating color is also not that popular.     The second monitor is defective and awaiting replacement by the seller

    I will update this review when the exchange is complete. The first monitor ordered had no problems, the second ordered identical monitor had a defective LCD with lines and damage (see photo). Not happy because I'm waiting for the seller as Revain won't be dealing with him yet. If the replacement is made for an identical monitor without defects, I will change the rating immediately. The box was undamaged, but the LCD is obviously defective.

    Checkout monitor in my test

    I bought three of these monitors for work. One works fine but the second (now returned) blinked and then turned on every 8 seconds. I ordered an identical replacement monitor and installed it. The display for it is also a POS as you can see in the picture. I will be returning this and ordering a DIFFERENT monitor but it will not be a Phillips 273V. I'm more than ready.

    Two problems, 1) fades quickly and 2) black is too gray

    I left the document open on my monitor for 4 hours while walking away. I went back, closed the document and opened the application with a solid black background. Of course, I can make out the ghostly text and numbers of the closed document against the black background. Turning the monitor off and on again doesn't help either. Wow! This is bad!     Good picture, not great speakers.

    Good photo. But the speakers are a joke. This was one of the main reasons I bought this model and if there weren't so many problems getting it back I would because the speakers are terrible. But the picture is good. If you are not looking for good speakers, but just a decent picture, this model is for you.

    Fairly new and everything looks good, we are satisfied. I didn't immediately notice that there is no built-in camera. Didn't own or use it long enough to see any problems. So far, so good.

    Excellent value for money and quality. Great monitor

    Perfect upgrade for a smaller work monitor (24 inch or smaller). I mainly use it for office work (forecasting, reading, etc.) so I can't comment on gaming or graphics, but the monitor is bright, crisp, and more than adequate. for office work. The ONLY downside I even want to mention is the speakers. Don't buy this monitor just because it has a built-in speaker. You will NOT want to use this speaker alone when listening to ANY type of music or working with sight and sound.

I had to reduce the brightness by 30% to avoid glare, but other than that it's quite a monitor. And it appears to be a lot bigger than 27 inches when standing in front of it, so keep that in mind if you're not sure what size you need.
