Shipping from China took over a month but for my needs it was worth every penny.

Using a filter to coarsely filter beer as it is pumped from the primary to the secondary fermenter. I fill it with polyester batting (100% polyester, nothing else), an old trick I learned in the reef aquarium community. Works perfectly.

Very useful for water filtration and softening

They are excellent for handling a variety of liquid streams containing a variety of solids - filters, sorbents, desiccants etc. They can also be used as small pressure vessels. They will hold pressure as advertised as long as you use PTFE tape or silicone vacuum grease on the threads. Good product. If you need a 3 port filter instead of 2, try a reverse osmosis water filter housing.

Essential for reverse osmosis systems

If you have an under counter reverse osmosis system you must have this refillable cartridge. My spring water has a low pH initially (6.7) and my reverse osmosis system that I use to filter PFAS and PFOS on the military base lowers it to 6.0. I use this cartridge filled with crushed Georgia marble to bring the pH down to an acceptable level of 6.9. I first tried the APEC calcite cartridge and it worked fine for 4 weeks. But due to my low pH, it was completely depleted in just a month. Instead of
