Great upgrade from the original 4K 30Hz version

I bought this new version as an upgrade to the 4 port 4K 30Hz version I bought last summer. Considering how much time I'm spending at my desk now that COVID has forced me to work from home, I've found that the additional upgrades are worth the cost of buying a new device. This new version works well with the volume keys and macros on my keyboard, and switching between different resolutions and refresh rates feels a lot smoother. I don't have a 144hz monitor so I can't comment on this feature. I

Pros
  • Sharing 4 computers with 1 monitor, keyboard and mouse. Switch between PCs with a button, keyboard hotkeys, mouse gestures or a remote control. Can also be used as an HDMI switch for gaming consoles and streaming devices.
Cons
  • Shorter cable than others

Tried it and works great!

After so many years, my IOGear 4-Port DVI KVM Switch (purchased on 9/2015) died suddenly and without warning. After struggling to bring him back to life, I knew I had no choice but to replace him. I was debating whether to buy another DVI switch or convert to HDMI, knowing that my video configurations and drivers might not work if I switched to HDMI (think Linux). It made sense to stick with the DVI setup since I didn't have to deal with the mountains of cables stretched across my desk and…

Pros
  • Supports wired, wireless, mechanical, multimedia and gaming keyboards. Zero latency, zero-latency keyboard switching, and pass-through for media keys. READ THE FAQ AND PHOTOS.

4K 60Hz 4:4:4 WORKS!

I checked out their website and found that this is the latest model/chipset (2020) they have. I can run 4k 60hz 4:4:4. Unlike others I've tried where it just doesn't work, edid doesn't, 4k 60hz causes snow, that fixed it. The only problem is that my Dell keyboard is not working. and you need to buy a battery for the remote control (2025). But his good performance makes up for it. Thank you!

Pros
  • Send audio over HDMI to monitor and/or external speakers through stereo output. Share USB devices such as webcam and headset via a dedicated USB2.0 port. Great for Zoom and Twitch users.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works reliably and does what it should.

I am very satisfied with this KVM switch. I don't use the remote, but that's because the keyboard shortcuts for switching between computers work really well. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the USB port worked very well for device sharing across all computers. I use it to share my webcam with the computer I've just selected and it works fine. I am using a 4 port KVM and it works with both Windows OS and Raspberry Pi.

Pros
  • HDMI 2.0 supports UHD 4K 60Hz (3840x2160), QHD 144Hz (2560x1440), 1080P 144Hz (1920x1080). Plus ultra-wide 60Hz (21:9 and 32:9). HDCP 2.2, HDR10, Dolby Vision. EDID emulation.
Cons
  • I don't like it that much, everything is fine

I just set it up best in External Components

I had no problems. Comes with two 1.5m HDMI/USB cables. Works with my existing mouse and keyboard. I was running Rocket League 2560x1440 at 144Hz. The monitor reports correct settings. and I didn't notice any problems or lags in the game. It would be nice if a wall mount was included. I ended up using foam inserts for the packaging to design and 3D print some of the brackets. Then I just installed it behind my monitor so I didn't have to look at the tangle of wires.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some problems
