The bottom needs to be stronger

This is a good tool bag, but the bottom was a weak point. Figuratively, maybe literally. The base is plastic and thin enough to flex a bit when the bag is empty. I'm drawn to the solid base and little protection from water or anything else, like you have to drop your bag on a wet road. But it will be the difference between a bag that lasts "forever" and a bag that breaks in a few years. The nylon webbing and overall construction feels very durable. Also, it's a nice big bag that fits a lot of…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Good Design: Power and Hand Tools

This tool bag is significantly larger than the Black and Decker 12 inch bag. It also has a few extra features like a molded plastic bottom and a shoulder strap. The fabric is durable and the stitching and zippers feel secure. Pockets and loops both inside and out make it easy to find your most-used tools. The plastic base measures approximately 2 inches high, 16 inches long and 9 inches wide. The only thing that seems a bit questionable are the plastic hooks on the shoulder strap. but I don't…

Lid won't close

This isn't the strongest tool pouch I have, but it's good enough to hold a few cordless tools and accessories. The hole doesn't close completely, it just doesn't close completely. It has wire around the edges but no hinge, just fabric and webbing around the hinge area. Although I like bags with a plastic bottom, this one is thinner and feels a bit fragile. I'm not sure how it will behave over time or fall off the back of a truck once filled. I like the inside pockets, you can hold a 50ft tape…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Unreliable

Large unique tool bag.

Tool pocket on large side. I use this type of bag both for my instruments and for transporting audio equipment to courses and concerts. This bag is large enough to hold a full-size router and a few boxes of bits. It also includes all the XLR and TS cables needed for our group of four. Plenty of pockets and loops so small tools don't get buried deep in your pocket. The neck of the collar closes with a strong zipper that looks like it will hold up over time. Includes a heavy-duty dual carry…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Can't remember

Love the external organization for quick grabs and holds a ton.

Much better than my old square plastic tool box with pull out shelf. Holds a ton more. I'm trying to clean up next year as we prepare to sell our house. This tool bag is much larger than I expected. First I filled a rectangular box, and then the bin that sits on a shelf above my washer and dryer was also filled. I combined everything in one bag. I like that it has pockets and stuff on the outside. I can hold a few different screwdrivers, a tape measure, a small hammer, and a small spirit level.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Security

Big enough to take my cordless circular saw and accessories with me

I often have to do small construction jobs from home. I used to pack my tools in plastic boxes to take with me to the construction site. The boxes were not a solution I was happy with. I needed something to house my circular saw (my widest cordless tool), charger, spare blades, spare batteries, pencils, measures, and the like to keep everything organized, stowed, and easy to carry. I had a chance to order this "BLACK+DECKER BDST500002APB 16" Zip Wide Neck Tool Bag". Measuring 16" wide, this bag

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
