🔒 High-Performance 12V 360° Power Motor Door Lock Actuator Set (4-Pack) Review

Power door locks installed on a 2014 Jeep Patriot. Saved a lot of money doing it myself. The hardest part was pulling the wires.

Works as it should but didn't have enough parts to attach the cable to the cable in the door. I was able to make the parts I needed. Otherwise they work great.

Replaced a similar one in my 2004 XTerra, already wired for 4 doors, 1 added in trunk (Costa Rican guy told me it was hard work but it wasn't). and it worked great!

These actuators get stuck after the first day Only 1 still works but I ended up buying another brand to replace because I don't like my doors once locked or unlocked with the key as she grabbed the bar and clamped it I couldn't move her to get in the car. Maybe I got a bad batch, I don't know, but I would have bought a different variety.

I am using them for a DIY project that is NOT a car door. They all work as advertised and I don't understand why they don't work on any door. I do NOT know if they are direct replacements for a specific door. They come with screws and push rods and the actuator moves about 0.75 inches. I did NOT measure the pull or push force, but they seem pretty strong. I would estimate at least 5 pounds of force.

The drives arrived faster than expected. I used a 9v battery to test everything before installing and everything worked and felt strong. They appear to be made from quality parts and should last a long time. It's raining now so I have to wait to put them on 🤣. Installation is easy (I've already installed a few). Just make sure the rod doesn't get pinched during installation and is mounted as close to the engine as possible to avoid undue stress on the engine. Update: The rods that come with…
