Good product, no major issues

The bar arrived in good condition (not bent or damaged), it's a steel bar so not much to say about it. It was straight and round in the stated size. The ends were compressed so it did take a bit of cleaning at the end to fit the support bearing I was using, but that was to be expected. The rod cuts well, it is easy to grind and polish. Overall good product and fair price. Pros: It's a steel rod, so yes, it was steel and rod shaped. Against: no.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

Fits but not very straight

I wish I had checked the big department stores. Revain is double the price and I had to wait for delivery. The stem fits my 3/4 top mount well after deburring the tip, but isn't as straight as I'd hoped. It wobbled noticeably even when I was spinning it at around 60 rpm. I have to spin it at 300rpm and am afraid it will tear the bearing at that speed. It's my fault for not reading the description more carefully of what it's supposed to be used for (vans, carts, etc.).

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Upgrades

Not straight and not quite round. Although the price was nice.

I liked the price but I got what I paid for. The pole wasn't straight, and the ends were curved, not even remotely round. I had to file the edges to create a cone and use PVC pipe along with a rubber mallet to push the rod through the bearing blocks. Not even close right now. I use this for the rocker arm and turning the rod noticeably moves the plate up more than 0.25" or so. If you don't need it directly then it works fine, but I had to pay the extra money for a linear one Spend shaft instead

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

This is a cheap coated rod that you can find at hardware stores.

This is just a cheap coated pole you can find at a hardware store. It wasn't as straight as I had hoped and the fact that I was using it with cheap bearings didn't help. The price seems a bit high for what it is, but I haven't compared it to a hardware store. I should have just bought mild steel bar from my industrial metal supplier but it saved me a trip. The last time I needed something like this I bought a precision ground rod. Well, it's not nearly so, and it's almost the other way around…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

If you need a curved rod, order it from this company. I ordered 2 sticks 3 feet long and 3/4 inch thick to attach my stone pipes and they were both bent about 10 inches from the end and it was like the machine they were working on had bent them. There was a grove of Lil where someone could pinch or pinch her. In short, they bounced and shook my trolley hard, and it moves worse than my previous bars I dug up in my scrap pile. My broken rods were straighter than the two new ones they sent me. If…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
