With or without slime, the glue never changed color. It has always stayed blue. Neither heat nor light. But it was fun, like blue glue. Wouldn't recommend it.

And while it works well as an adhesive (not sure why you're doing that, although it's hard to see the coloring effect), it dries FOREVER if you're just using it as decoration. My daughter just loves slime, too much I think. This pre-colored glue makes slime very easy to make. Simply make a borax solution consisting of 1 cup of hot water and 1 teaspoon of borax. Then add tablespoons of the solution and stir until it reaches the desired consistency. An added bonus of this glue is the color change. If you put it in the sun, the color will change very quickly.
