It does not work.

With or without slime, the glue never changed color. It has always stayed blue. Neither heat nor light. But it was fun, like blue glue. Wouldn't recommend it.

Absolutely great for slime making!

My daughter loves all things slime and she loves making everything, but this color-changing Elmer Glue is at the top of her favorites list. As soon as we received it she immediately went into town and made a few to see how it behaved in the form of "slime" and to her delight it worked beautifully and the color changing effect is amazing. The glue itself discolors very quickly when exposed to sunlight and in the form of slime, as you can see from the attached video. If you or your kids love…

It takes a lot of light to make a difference.

Our kids love making slime with glue and the promise of a color changing slime is only matched by glitter slime. yes they are girls That's why we were so excited to receive Elmer's color-changing liquid glue. First, the transition from blue to purple and back, so it's inherently a little less dramatic than my kids were hoping for. Obviously the glue needs exposure to sunlight to change color and sticking two opaque pieces together wouldn't make a difference. any visible effect. Slime is…

Only real purpose is to make slime but it's pretty cool

This is really cool but the price is ridiculous. And while it works well as an adhesive (not sure why you're doing that, although it's hard to see the coloring effect), it dries FOREVER if you're just using it as decoration. We didn't make any slime with it, but I think that's where this product shines. I had no problems with the color change and found the transition from light blue to deep purple to be quite dramatic and very quick. It was also a very bright sunny summer day in Southern…

Makes an awesome slime that changes the color of the slime

My daughter just loves slime, too much I think. This pre-colored glue makes slime very easy to make. Simply make a borax solution consisting of 1 cup of hot water and 1 teaspoon of borax. Then add tablespoons of the solution and stir until it reaches the desired consistency. An added bonus of this glue is the color change. If you put it in the sun, the color will change very quickly. If you go into the shade for a minute or two, it will change color again. Like any slime, it gets stuck in…

Color change doesn't take very long

We prefer Elmer's and CrazArt glue for slime making, so I gladly ordered this color changing glue for slime making and crafting. My daughter used some glue on an art project, took the glued project out in the sun and then claimed the color change didn't work. Upon inspection, the glue changed color slightly. The color change is activated by the sun and really works. There are a couple of caveats: first, the transition from blue to purple isn't abrupt, and second, the glue needs constant…

how to glue two things together. Well, actually, this thing isn't about making slime that changes color. I gave it to my daughter who knows how to make slime and she put it to good use. She was very excited because she had never made a slime that changed color. She made all sorts of other slimes: glitter slime, green slime, blue slime, sticky slime. Do you understand. So she immediately concocted a pile of this junk and ran into the street with it. Of course, in less than a minute, this thing…
