Not working as advertised

This is a great idea which has not yet become a fully functional product. Phonex Broadband (the makers of NeverWire14) disregards the ad that each of the modules must be plugged into the 'same circuit' in the house for this to work. Just because you plug each module into different outlets doesn't mean it will work. I have 14 different circuit breakers at home. The chances that the area I wanted to cover was on the same circuit with a wired connection was pretty slim.

Works perfectly! Looks ugly!

When your wireless connection isn't reaching the rest of your house (like mine). Powerline is a great solution and these PhonEx devices really connect and work almost instantly. I was amazed and relieved that it was as easy to use as advertised on their website and that you can actually get up and running in less than 2 minutes as they say. (Unless your house is very big and it takes you longer to get to the room where you install another extension.) In 7+ months of use I've never had any…

Used for networking products for 8 years

I used the Phonex NeverWire system for 8 years to connect a laser printer two floors down from my office computer. You can't use a surge protector with them because the surge protector interferes with the signal and not every plug will work. Most cabinets have an A side and a B side, and without a phase shifter, both outputs must be on the same side of the cabinet. So some outlets in my office didn't work to plug them in, but others did.
