They have withstood the abuse and neglect of an 11 year old boy. He's had them for at least a few months and they haven't broken yet.

I'm not sure if size 7 for big kids (7 Youth) is the same width as size 8 for women - basically they are identical in width and length. Incredibly wide.

After browsing shoe stores for red slippers for our 13 year old son, we settled on this one. We wanted a solid sole, not foam like a lot of brands are doing now. They arrived on time, fit perfectly and were exactly what our son wanted. We ordered 1/2 size up to give our son's feet some room to grow. We were very satisfied and the price was lower than shoe stores. I saw stains on them after wearing them for a short while but was able to wipe them off with a dry cloth. I would order this product…
